Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Bienienda in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joos Teurfs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when İlhami Akyazıcı came free, but Joos Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda to fire away a dangerous shot which Joos Teurfs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zhao Sen Yang took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joos Teurfs. Joos Teurfs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes North Hill United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Bienienda who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Alexander Tan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. North Hill United's Alexander Tan managed to work through Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alexander Tan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stasio Bienienda in the 46th minute. After the first half Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, North Hill United's Joos Teurfs got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joos Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Akyazıcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. North Hill United's Carel Impens was substituted for Bengt Svanér. North Hill United made a substitution. Hondo De Hond replaced Tommi Van Der Meren. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joos Teurfs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 77th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Impens in the 81st minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. North Hill United's Joos Teurfs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joos Teurfs. Joos Teurfs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ivan Chiuzbaian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carel Impens's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils De Geutter in the 95th minute of the match.
