Eloy Mazuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prometeo Cabada's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Ildefonso Louis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 5th minute. A collision led to Gonzales Chaves FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Matias Quintin hit a great ball. Ismael Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Placido Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Stanislaw Hyska fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ildefonso Louis, passed just outside the right post. Ismael Rafe struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eloy Mazuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzales Chaves FC. After having played for 24 minutes, Ismael Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonzales Chaves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prometeo Cabada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Placido Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Mazuste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Eloy Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prometeo Cabada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Mariano Llorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gonzales Chaves FC booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Llorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Prometeo Cabada came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gonzales Chaves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prometeo Cabada couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gonzales Chaves FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Teobaldo Hitz hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Christian Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Louis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gonzales Chaves FC's Rafael Feliz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prometeo Cabada made a kick off. In the 50thth minute of the game Prometeo Cabada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mariano Llorian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Louis. Gonzales Chaves FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Llorian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Christian Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Gonzales Chaves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sinan Okergun came free, but Ildefonso Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Stanislaw Hyska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Louis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gonzales Chaves FC's Tadeo Derwin was substituted for Ismael Rafe. Ildefonso Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 74 in the game by Dante Peruanton from a close distance when the talented Eloy Mazuste managed to make a qualified save. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's players were relieved. In the 76th minute Tadeo Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tigres Ñacuñán FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Selmo was slow to take the kick. During this time Gonzales Chaves FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 80th minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Mazuste had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tadeo Derwin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Gonzales Chaves FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Gonzales Chaves FC's Tadeo Derwin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dante Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Gonzales Chaves FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Quintin. Ildefonso Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Okergun in the 92nd minute of play. Ildefonso Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
