The audience thought a goal was coming when Qiao Qing Xiao got free with Cosme Fernendo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Figari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Cosme Fernendo made a huge save. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Edgar Figari sped through River's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cosme Fernendo. After having played for 19 minutes, Qiao Qing Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Boiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qiao Qing Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Figari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Turi took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Fernendo. Cosme Fernendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for River! 45 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Turi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Cosme Fernendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Wilfried Van Cauwenberg made the kick off in the second half. Cosme Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 55th minute of the match. Cosme Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 59th minute of play. Perico Raya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaetan Slaghmeulders, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Cosme Fernendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Figari went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that CD Boiro were the better team. CD Boiro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
