The crowd rose to their feet as Bozkurt's Kai Havertz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Abad. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Long Xiang Yuan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Arda Göksel Yalman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günther Doty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arda Göksel Yalman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Kai Havertz sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Philippe Albert was slow to take the kick. During this time Bozkurt's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd match minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Su Jian Jie to maneuver through the defense. When Kai Havertz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bozkurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai Havertz couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Günther Doty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tytus Orling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arda Göksel Yalman. Bozkurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tytus Orling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Bozkurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 85th minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Tytus Orling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arda Göksel Yalman. Arda Göksel Yalman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 89 minutes into the game, Ferdi Kadıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. David Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrullah Erboy in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
