The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Žydrūnas Pauža. Agostinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MarineerS FK's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mecnun Seha. Abelardo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mecnun Seha in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, MarineerS FK's Žydrūnas Pauža dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Žydrūnas Pauža sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Cezmi Gök sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Žydrūnas Pauža to strike the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Rundell in the 52nd minute of play. Donato Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Seha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Cássio Ferraz took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tayfun Tanfer. Tayfun Tanfer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. MarineerS FK's Ján Novák was substituted for Cezmi Gök. In the 63rd minute Ján Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 66th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarineerS FK's Tayfun Tanfer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Custódio. Mecnun Seha hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. MarineerS FK's Ilias Tsembelis was substituted for Ionuț Corbu. Olivedos made a substitution. Abel de Godoi replaced Osvaldinho Veiga. The supporters of Olivedos booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mecnun Seha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayfun Tanfer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Godoi went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute Ján Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abel de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Olivedos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Žydrūnas Pauža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The MarineerS FK fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when MarineerS FK's Ján Novák looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ján Novák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Abel de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. MarineerS FK's Tayfun Tanfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
