Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Ove Söderström started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Karl-Ove Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Veliz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gnesta Oilers's Alejo Veliz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Veliz came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Clemente Rubio sent off a good shot on target. Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Springfält in the 14th minute of play. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Veliz in the 22nd minute of the match. Gnesta Oilers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaudencio Stanislao in the 23rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Karl-Ove Söderström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Bäckström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Karl-Ove Söderström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Bäckström having to make a save. In the 37th minute Alejo Veliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Alejo Veliz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Rubio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Clemente Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Karl-Ove Söderström put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Orvar Bäckström. 59 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderström came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Venancio Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basavilbaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnesta Oilers the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Venancio Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Gnesta Oilers got a corner. Basavilbaso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Stanislao ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gaudencio Stanislao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orvar Bäckström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Springfält to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gnesta Oilers booed when Basavilbaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Springfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Orvar Bäckström managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Gnesta Oilers's Alejo Veliz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute, Ruben Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Söderström notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Patxi to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Patxi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Karl-Ove Söderström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Orvar Bäckström stood somewhat misplaced when Karl-Ove Söderström came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 84 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Veliz got free with Orvar Bäckström in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orvar Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Söderström in the 92nd minute of play. Alejo Veliz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Orvar Bäckström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Orvar Bäckström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
