Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Avram Pârvan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kader Miguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cats and dogs's Christophe Montaigne got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christophe Montaigne got free with Anter Barroso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia Rio's Anter Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Montaigne in the 18th minute of play. Gaétan Toullec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Pârvan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nicolae Hizo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Anter Barroso got control of the ball when Kader Miguet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Pârvan came free, but Gaétan Toullec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cats and dogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gigel Coidum was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Rio's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Gaétan Toullec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christophe Montaigne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Avram Pârvan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaétan Toullec came out of the goal and Avram Pârvan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Justin Cornil got a free kick in the 60th minute. Academia Rio's Valer Necula was substituted for Alin Năsturel. In the 73rd minute, Christophe Montaigne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justin Cornil kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Avram Pârvan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Rio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Avram Pârvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Toullec having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Gheban to maneuver through the defense. Kader Miguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anter Barroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Toullec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Pârvan in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Valer Necula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaétan Toullec. Cats and dogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valer Necula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
