Kutluay Haşmetli came out of the goal and Kazimierz Pisarcik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Pisarcik got free with Kutluay Haşmetli in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Bayern München FC.'s Kazimierz Pisarcik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The MarineerS FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kutluay Haşmetli should have stopped the shot. When Ubaldo Panfilo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern München FC.'s protests and gave Ubaldo Panfilo a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Panfilo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Alpertunga Korcan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the MarineerS FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alpertunga Korcan couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Menderes Ünaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Grzegorz Blochowiak took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Kutluay Haşmetli to make any attempt to save it. Levente Csizmadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kutluay Haşmetli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaltino Moreno was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Bayern München FC.'s Norbert Csongrádi to fire away a dangerous shot which Kutluay Haşmetli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Bayern München FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yenal Okdemir came free, but Jácint Tótfalusi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MarineerS FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alpertunga Korcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jácint Tótfalusi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kutluay Haşmetli came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern München FC.'s Grzegorz Blochowiak. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Blochowiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 82nd minute, Alpertunga Korcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarineerS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. After 87 minutes of play, Bayern München FC.'s Grzegorz Blochowiak made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kutluay Haşmetli was left in no man's land by his defense there! MarineerS FK's Jonny Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kutluay Haşmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Moreno in the 93rd minute of the match. Grzegorz Blochowiak's late challenge caught a MarineerS FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Blochowiak helped the player get up and apologised. Bayern München FC.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
