Jo Blanchaert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Leão having to make a save. When Adriano de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s protests and gave Adriano de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Adriano de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Blanchaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Blanchaert in the 22nd minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Teige kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Askestät in the 33rd minute of play. Average Joes's Ivar Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Zjawin in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Gustav Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Saba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emerson Leão firmly grabbed it by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Zjawin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gustav Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Average Joes's Ivar Björling got control of the ball when Teofil Zjawin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Joélson Cardozo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jo Blanchaert struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Emerson Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. If Teofil Zjawin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Jo Blanchaert came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Pål Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano de Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
