Cícero Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Holmgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Branco. Callegari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Holmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cícero Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Bergdal in the 20th minute of play. Callegari's Cícero Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Holmgren in the 22nd minute of play. Cícero Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Edgar Bjursell made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Oswaldo Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Holmgren in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cícero Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cícero Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Shantala in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ismael Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Branco. Oswaldo Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Edgar Bjursell made a huge save. Callegari's Cícero Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Shantala in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
