The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC NORDLAND's Richard Persson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Mai Quan Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bandit Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Västlund. Seed Town West were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC NORDLAND's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aytaç Sözen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aytaç Sözen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bandit Banks quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Quan Peng came free, but Bandit Banks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bongky Boniek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Michael Haglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Mai Quan Peng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bandit Banks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC NORDLAND's Bandit Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mai Quan Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seed Town West's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Quan Peng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bandit Banks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Bolin. In the 47th minute of the match Seed Town West got a corner. FC NORDLAND's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aytaç Sözen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Seed Town West's Aytaç Sözen to fire away a dangerous shot which Bandit Banks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Persson made a kick off. Bandit Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Quan Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytaç Sözen got free with Bandit Banks in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute of the match Seed Town West got a corner. FC NORDLAND's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aytaç Sözen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bandit Banks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 79 minutes into the game, Otto Eskilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NORDLAND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seed Town West the free kick. In the 79th minute, Otto Eskilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytaç Sözen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Bandit Banks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seed Town West. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Åke Nilsson during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC NORDLAND getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jan-Åke Nilsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Seed Town West defense, Mikael Kjellqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Schmeichel. The Seed Town West fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. Jan-Åke Nilsson made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seed Town West's Gregers Kumler. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Seed Town West players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
