When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jacinto Fantini put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eugen Jupân. In the 17th minute, Mohamed Salah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugen Jupân was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eugen Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Jacinto Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eugen Jupân was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute of the match Dinei Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugen Jupân skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Fantini in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugen Jupân saved DINAMO from getting behind. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jacinto Fantini sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugen Jupân. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Borcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Jacinto Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Fantini struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Eugen Jupân didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classe A Futebol Clube. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Opincaru to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Salah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugen Jupân was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Jupân should have stopped the shot. Dinei Loyola hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Eugen Jupân came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Classe A Futebol Clube's Mohamed Salah. But to his dismay, Mohamed Salah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Classe A Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
