After recieving a nice pass, OROTINENSE's Nery Hurtado tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 15th minute of play forced Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Dário Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pancho Garita hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Dráusio Domingues sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and OROTINENSE's Nacho Figueroa didn't even have to move. In the 20th minute, Rogério Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademir Chavess short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Nacho Figueroa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dário Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 29th minute of play. When Ademir Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Irreal Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Chaves couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nacho Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dário Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Opincaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Lopez. With a little luck, OROTINENSE's Nacho Figueroa got control of the ball when Ademir Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Leiton during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Severino Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Figueroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. OROTINENSE's Nacho Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Chaves in the 91st minute of play. Virgil Ciocârlan charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Ciocârlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Ciocârlan. Irreal Madrid's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
