After 11 minutes, Joe Kazinsky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aioros FC and the Fesport FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Kazinsky. Fesport FC's Diagur Infante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Fesport FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximun Zaldos in the 17th minute of play forced Fesport FC's goalkeeper Diagur Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Truebano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Diagur Infante made a huge save. The Aioros FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Aioros FC's Ximun Zaldos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fesport FC's Diagur Infante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Fesport FC from getting a goal against them. Josu Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fesport FC's Diagur Infante got control of the ball when Zacarias Gascon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aioros FC's Joe Kazinsky was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Walter Pandiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Baldovino Nueva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fesport FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chaise Long got free with Diagur Infante in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldovino Nueva made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Fesport FC's Josu Villanueva got a free kick in the 57th minute. Diagur Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximun Zaldos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fesport FC defense, Ximun Zaldos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diagur Infante. The Fesport FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diagur Infante should have stopped the shot. Mergildo Landa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Osasun Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fesport FC. Aioros FC made a substitution. Feliciano Lorca replaced Joe Kazinsky. 68 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goalkeeper Osasun Abastas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Pandiani. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fesport FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Primo Peramato was slow to take the kick. During this time Aioros FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Primo Peramato almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fesport FC's Diagur Infante did a great save. Diagur Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximun Zaldos in the 77th minute of play. Diagur Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primo Peramato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximun Zaldos took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diagur Infante. Diagur Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Diagur Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximun Zaldos in the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aioros FC had won after a very even match.
