Ubaldo Elguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Cabral in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 13th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Ubaldo Elguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Rudberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Argandona, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Piotr Osikowicz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ubaldo Elguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Uai MzC™. Sune Rudberg made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gustavo Argandona sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, NAGANO F.C's Gustavo Argandona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some careless play in the NAGANO F.C defense, Piotr Osikowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Elguero. The NAGANO F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Elguero should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Clóvis Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Elguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Elguero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Osikowicz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Osikowicz came free, but Ubaldo Elguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's Carlos Valderrama got a free kick in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, NAGANO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xano Tipular to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Ubaldo Elguero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John McCain. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Osikowicz got free with Ubaldo Elguero in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting Uai MzC™'s Rüknettin Aysan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ubaldo Elguero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alisson De Gasperi advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-5 in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John McCain in the 78th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Ubaldo Elguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Lago hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Elguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Osikowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to NAGANO F.C getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lisandro Orbea hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Rüknettin Aysan sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ubaldo Elguero showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When John McCain came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sporting Uai MzC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John McCain couldn't finish the play. Sporting Uai MzC™'s attentive Piotr Osikowicz managed to snatch the ball when Cristian Pizaño made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game.
