With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppe Savoia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Andersson in the 12th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Carloforte f.c. defense, Alfred Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Savoia. The Carloforte f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Savoia should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sajeev Rajah hit a great ball. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Törnblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Alessandro Iacovella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Vase. Sundens BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Iacovella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Törnblom in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Alfred Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bianco Mannucci got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Rotili. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Zhou Jun Chuan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Panza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Netto to maneuver through the defense. Per Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Beppe Savoia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee ignored Sundens BK's protests and gave Per Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Iacovella, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Börje Törnblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Savoia. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Törnblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Iacovella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Börje Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Törnblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
