Olivier Ostermann scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Sansone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Popcorn Knoblauch notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AQUILES's Sebastian Sansone. Sebastian Sansone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute Yann Wirz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AQUILES's zone, Olivier Ostermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Sansone came out of the goal and Olivier Ostermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Gerber came free, but Sebastian Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Bazil during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesus Montez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Ostermann came free, but Sebastian Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ariel Cerilo hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Adriano Bollhalder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Bollhalder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Sansone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Juan Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lew Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AQUILES's Javier Tanio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sebastian Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 58th minute of play. Roland Cirella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sebastian Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Karim Gerber hit a great ball. Sebastian Sansone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olivier Ostermann in the 67th minute. Javier Tanio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Tanio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes AQUILES got a freekick which was hit by Javier Tanio. Sebastian Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Ostermann in the 75th minute of play. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Tanio in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, AQUILES's Sebastian Sansone got control of the ball when Popcorn Knoblauch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Sansone didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Wil 1900's Olivier Ostermann shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. With an all-out effort, FC Wil 1900's Sebastian Sansone threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benoit Lukas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 85th minute, FC Wil 1900's Yann Wirz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Sansone. Sebastian Sansone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. AQUILES's Sebastian Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Ostermann in the 92nd minute of play. The AQUILES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Wil 1900 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
