FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Tarka in the 3rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Olimpia Koło's corner Boleslaw Andrysiak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonio Claeys quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Olimpia Koło getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Zbyszko Budarz hit a great ball. Mike Buyck hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Tarka in the 20th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Antonio Claeys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Pieter-Jan Rummens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter-Jan Rummens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Feliks Bury when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antonio Claeys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Tarka, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Armand Owerckx hit a great ball. FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Tarka in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Franciszek Mruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Claeys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Franciszek Mruk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpia Koło's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ouagadougou National the free kick. A collision led to Olimpia Koło getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Franciszek Mruk hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franciszek Mruk to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Claeys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Wolicki in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Budarz. If Pieter-Jan Rummens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by Armand Owerckx. Boleslaw Andrysiak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Claeys. FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Karol Wolicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Claeys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 84th minute Pawel Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Claeys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Olimpia Koło was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Mruk to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ouagadougou National's zone, Karol Wolicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Claeys came out of the goal and Karol Wolicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliks Bury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter-Jan Rummens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpia Koło were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Ouagadougou National to leave the ground with a draw.
