Cássio Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Bento having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Noel Coelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Bento. Noel Coelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Sagarana Clube's Valdemar Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Bento. That made the score 4-3 after 41 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-3 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Clis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Anastasio Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ullún and the Sagarana Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anastasio Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edmundo de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Clis in the 57th minute of the match. Ladislao Cedro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Roman Bento came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Noel Coelho. But to his dismay, Noel Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. After 64 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas de Queirós. The supporters of Ullún booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes, Ullún's Zeledon Cutberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo de Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ullún reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Coelho during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Noel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With 73 minutes on the clock, Anastasio Etxekopar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 74th match minute, Ullún was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Paulo Renato Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Bento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Edmundo de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Gutxi. If Cafu Filho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Ullún was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Salamon during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Bento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-4.
