Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Cage in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrzej Köpke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Clinton in the 44th minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Andrzej Köpke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Cosmos 1984 NewDance got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Roch Tyszka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos 1984 NewDance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mike Clinton struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Andrzej Köpke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inmortales FC. 69 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Mikulski came free, but Toby Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Wesley Cage from a close distance when the talented Andrzej Köpke managed to make a qualified save. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Iwan Zahemski got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Wesley Cage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Andrzej Köpke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inmortales FC's Toby Herget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pietras in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Cosmos 1984 NewDance booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Webster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Andrzej Köpke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Cage in the 98th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inmortales FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
