The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Dabi got free with Manuel Moya in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Plaza Babys CF's Manuel Moya got control of the ball when Hector Dabi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Muhammet Ökten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparicio Ladra in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Anacleto Lohitzun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Moya. Plaza Babys CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Lohitzun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. River Plate ® 9-12's Amadeo Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aļģis Engers in the 34th minute of play. Amadeo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasin Saleh, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Lohitzun in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Moya saved Plaza Babys CF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Dabi in the 45th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Manuel Moya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of River Plate ® 9-12 booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparicio Ladra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aparicio Ladra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Moya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Lohitzun in the 52nd minute of the match.
