Miroslav Majzeľ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Čerňan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Song Hao Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Miroslav Majzeľ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslav Majzeľ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Velloso in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir Velloso in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Majzeľ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Here Comes the Hammer's Song Hao Feng quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Róbert Šulík, made in the 44th minute of the game. Miroslav Majzeľ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velloso in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Čerňan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdir Velloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslav Majzeľ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Velloso ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Eriksson got free with Miroslav Majzeľ in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Here Comes the Hammer's Charles Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Weber in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Song Hao Feng. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Murilo Maranhense got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Here Comes the Hammer made a substitution. Carlinhos Félix replaced Valdir Velloso. Charles Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Weber in the 77th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Here Comes the Hammer eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
