Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nouara Boulmerka, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Hemza Khaled mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wara and the Abutres 2003 FDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Abutres 2003 FDP's Hemza Lamine Kab threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristóvão de Salles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caio da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chih Zidān went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Claudinei Ceresso fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abutres 2003 FDP's protests and gave Claudinei Ceresso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Wara were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Abutres 2003 FDP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mohamed Ben Assad took the corner. The corner led Wara's Mohamed Ben Assad to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio da Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Wara's goalkeeper Hemza Lamine Kab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Mendonça. Claudinei Ceresso made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Geraldo Queirós immediately put the ball in play. In the 20th minute Hemza Khaled shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio da Costa came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wara's Chih Zidān. But to his dismay, Chih Zidān quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hemza Khaled in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chih Zidān in the 28th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Geovani do Nascimento hit a great ball. Caio da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chih Zidān, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Wara got a corner. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mohamed Ben Assad ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Nouara Boulmerka at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Abutres 2003 FDP. 0-3. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chih Zidān in the 39th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Claudinei Ceresso in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wara's Chih Feraoun. In the 42nd minute Nouara Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Wara's Chih Zidān nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Abutres 2003 FDP:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wara:s goal. The goalkeeper, Caio da Costa, was totally fooled by Wara's Mohamed Ben Assad, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 58 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Chih Zidān came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Chih Zidān dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caio da Costa, 0-6. In the 67th minute Cacá Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemza Lamine Kab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristóvão de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Abutres 2003 FDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão de Salles couldn't finish the play. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chih Zidān in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Chih Zidān sped through Abutres 2003 FDP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caio da Costa. Caio da Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hemza Khaled showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chih Zidān in the 88th minute of play. Nouara Boulmerka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Caio da Costa made a huge save. Wara played a much better game than Abutres 2003 FDP and deserved their victory. The Abutres 2003 FDP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
