After 14 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Caracciolo. In the 22nd minute Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Frederico Britto went to the cornerflag to take it. Adalberto Vale was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 26th minute Geovani Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Musso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Preuss in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Saraiva saved Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting behind. Coriano FC's Aldo Caligaris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Saraiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Imbituba - FSCMZ defense, Black Death kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Saraiva. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Saraiva should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Mané Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coriano FC the free kick. Mané Rocha hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Caligaris in the 42nd minute of play forced Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vítor Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Foni came free, but Vítor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Nico Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Imbituba - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coriano FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Black Death made a kick off. Imbituba - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Black Death scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Saraiva, making the score, 0-3. 54 minutes into the game, Black Death cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vítor Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Preusss short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Vítor Saraiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Geovani Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cristoforo Musso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Coriano FC's Black Death dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Vítor Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Black Death in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan da Fonseca in the 80th minute of play forced Coriano FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Musso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Dantas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Fausto Preuss got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st minute, Black Death reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vítor Saraiva. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vítor Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Saraiva came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Coriano FC's Comunardo Foni. But to his dismay, Comunardo Foni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Coriano FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
