Victoriano Eate came out of the goal and Lorenzo Insigne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nisse Jul hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Insigne made the kick off in the second half. North Pole Kickers were furious when Jan Wallman was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes into the game, one of North Pole Kickers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lorenzo Insigne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Eate having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Insigne got free with Victoriano Eate in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. North Pole Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Mazuste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Victoriano Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Insigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egil Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Mazuste in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Torbjörn Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Maximino Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the San Lorenzo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
