An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Etxahun in the 5th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Paulino Lizer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Paublo having to interfere. Paulino Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Antonio Etxahun made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Lizer. Piratas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, David Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjullan AFC the free kick. David Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Miguel Borja struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Paulino Lizer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjullan AFC. 26 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Francesco came free, but Dalmacio Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Azevedo in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Fausto Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Leo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anjullan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Azevedo scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Borja to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Antonio Etxahun made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Lizer. Piratas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 59 minutes, Miguel Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Borja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Lizer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Borja's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Paulino Lizer made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Miguel Borja sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Antonio Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Etxahun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulino Lizer came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Etxahun slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute. Dalmacio Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Francesco in the 92nd minute of the match.
