The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Österberg should have stopped the shot. In the 5th minute, Yoel Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewa Sundal in the 6th minute of play. Karl Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aang Krishna in the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, TAQUARI FC's M. Dedy Oddang threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Paulo França, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewa Sundal in the 23rd minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Karl Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewa Sundal in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoel Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. Karl Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewa Sundal in the 30th minute of the match. Karl Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewa Sundal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Bandit Kampus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Paulo França was the one to do the kick off. Iuri Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iuri Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Simões to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes of play, Begu Ganjang's Dewa Sundal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Österberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dewa Sundal struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Karl Österberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Begu Ganjang. Begu Ganjang's Dewa Laut was substituted for Dewa Sundal. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewa Laut in the 68th minute of play. Begu Ganjang made a substitution. Darius Wicaksono replaced Salman Sihite. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Dewa Laut got a free kick in the 74th minute. Dudan Kuncoro's late challenge caught a TAQUARI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudan Kuncoro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when Begu Ganjang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudan Kuncoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dewa Laut got free with Karl Österberg in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewa Laut in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Österberg saved TAQUARI FC from getting behind. Begu Ganjang's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
