With his leg Carlos Miguel managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Leripe Lifestyle's Bernardinho Passos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernardinho Passos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Miguel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Passos in the 20th minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Carlos Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Bernardinho Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRÊMIO's Carlos Miguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardinho Passos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Miguel came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardinho Passos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Lourenco Agreda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Miguel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
