The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Las Momias F. C. were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Izaltina FAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldo Bilbo took the corner. Osvaldo Bilbo made a great header on Las Momias F. C.'s corner, it was just that Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros managed to reach the ball for a save. 8 minutes into the game, Las Momias F. C.'s Mauricio Gaitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rony de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adrian Laffitte kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mauricio Gaitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rony de Medeiros having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s Luisito Peli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rony de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Las Momias F. C. were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Izaltina FAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldo Bilbo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mauricio Gaitano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rony de Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Gaitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony de Medeiros was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Gaitano in the 20th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Esteve Bernat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rony de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Salvatore in the 22nd minute of the match. Rony de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s Cristian Tarragon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rony de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Salvatore in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tiburcio Salvatore sped through Izaltina FAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rony de Medeiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Tarragon in the 39th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Rony de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Izaltina FAD's zone, Cristian Tarragon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony de Medeiros came out of the goal and Cristian Tarragon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Gaitano came free, but Rony de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Diguinho Mendonça hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Mauricio Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Las Momias F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Roberto Paulista hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Salvatore struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rony de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Momias F. C.. If Gabríel Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edorta Quintas in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Edorta Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Bernat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Gaitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabríel Cristofor in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Bernat saved Las Momias F. C. from getting behind. Mauricio Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabríel Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rony de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Momias F. C.. Tiburcio Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony de Medeiros having to interfere. With a little luck, Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros got control of the ball when Tiburcio Salvatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Gaitano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Salvatore got free with Rony de Medeiros in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Gaitano's late challenge caught a Izaltina FAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Gaitano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Mauricio Gaitano got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Tiburcio Salvatore put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rony de Medeiros. Las Momias F. C. played a much better game than Izaltina FAD and deserved their victory. The Izaltina FAD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
