Carlos Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Åke Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Ferdi Kadıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zebastian Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sílvio Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zebastian Palmkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sílvio Hermes could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in LOBO 1908's zone, Zebastian Palmkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Hermes came out of the goal and Zebastian Palmkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Americo Portas got a free kick in the 30th minute. Åke Utter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Sotilli's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. LOBO 1908's Matheus Figueiredo was substituted for Sandro Sotilli. In the 42nd match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. If Gláuber Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Åke Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber Arósio to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC NILS defense, Gláuber Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Utter. The FC NILS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Utter should have stopped the shot. Natanael Brasil hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gláuber Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Åke Utter made a huge save. Gláuber Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC NILS's Pol Putov was substituted for Merry Christmann. After a rather tough play, LOBO 1908's Rony Chaves got a free kick in the 68th minute. Åke Utter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gláuber Arósio's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Zebastian Palmkvist took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Hermes. Sílvio Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Gaueko in the 82nd minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Sílvio Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Cabral lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 93 minutes into the game, Glauco Arantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Åke Utter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOBO 1908 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
