Babbis Kabitakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Soulis Xanthakos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tomás Calixto to make any attempt to save it. Babbis Kabitakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Soulis Xanthakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Soulis Xanthakos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Periklis Vougiouklis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Babbis Kabitakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Soulis Xanthakos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkaios Tsionas to maneuver through the defense. Babbis Kabitakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Beltran in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Emilio Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Papakostopoulos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Go Ahead Eagles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Road To Glory. Justino Raulo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Babbis Kabitakis. 1-2. Chatziioannou Kakratsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Babbis Kabitakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Beltran in the 78th minute. Jonathan Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Babbis Kabitakis made a huge save. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziioannou Kakratsas in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Periklis Vougiouklis to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Justino Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Go Ahead Eagles's Chatziioannou Kakratsas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Emilio Ireno hit a great ball. Road To Glory's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
