The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Aragones. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Alvarez in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 17 in the game by Alfonso Vives from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Calvino managed to make a qualified save. Villa La Perla's players were relieved. Venancio Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Venancio Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Los once leones Ourense's Sanson Treviño tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mario Policarpio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa La Perla! 32 minutes into the game, Los once leones Ourense's Amuruza Alcantara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicasio Calvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nicasio Calvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Vives in the 34th minute. In the 44th minute Robustiano Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Fonticoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Farias was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Odon Montiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los once leones Ourense and the Villa La Perla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Odon Montiel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Villa La Perla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los once leones Ourense the free kick. After 70 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Aragones. Los once leones Ourense's Belmiro Alvarez pulled a muscle in his back after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Venancio Santio was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of Villa La Perla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Villa La Perla:s Nicasio Calvino showed great skill when he stopped Sanson Treviño:s penalty. 75 minutes into the match, Sanson Treviño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Calvino. Villa La Perla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sanson Treviño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alonzo Ganix hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Robustiano Iraitz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fagondo Huarte in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Calvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fagondo Huarte went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Nicasio Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagondo Huarte in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amuruza Alcantara in the 90th minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Nicasio Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Los once leones Ourense a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sanson Treviño, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villa La Perla's Nicasio Calvino. 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Los once leones Ourense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
