Bob Chute started the match with the kick off. Luis Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Diogo Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Rene Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timo!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Ilixo in the 21st minute of play. Jón Dinamite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Selatse having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Urbano Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Timo! were awarded a corner. Rene Ilixo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rene Ilixo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Dias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Rocio came free, but Carlos Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Chute charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bob Chute the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Bob Chute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bob Dinamites short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Luis Selatse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Ilixo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Dias saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Ilixo was the one to do the kick off. Timo!'s Luis Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Catarinense in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Carlos Dias got control of the ball when Rene Ilixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Rene Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Iturri in the 78th minute of play.
