Newcastle United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barnaba Bentkowski in the 4th minute. Márton Koncz's late challenge caught a Newcastle United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márton Koncz helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Márton Koncz. Kryspin Wyrostek made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when György Weszely sent off a good shot on target. György Weszelys short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Kryspin Wyrostek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Márton Koncz. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Valencia CF Mindszent's much stronger midfield.
