With an all-out effort, Olympique Fribourg's Cato Goiano threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florian Plouffe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melchor Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper Cato Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo Savion.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sixto Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 70th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gene Emmenegger to maneuver through the defense. Florian Plouffe took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cato Goiano.
