Chelsea Football Club's Emanuel Carletti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Football Club from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Cory Kirkland in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mete Ferro in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Carletti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute, Dadá Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Tomás Salvadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Carletti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fletcher Lund went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, New England Minas's Mete Ferro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Carletti. Emanuel Carletti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Mete Ferro in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Carletti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emanuel Carletti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Basualdo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Carletti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 57th minute of the match. Emanuel Carletti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chelsea Football Club's Emanuel Carletti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Ferro in the 85th minute of play. Cory Kirkland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Arnas got a free kick in the 95th minute. New England Minas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
