The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tautvydas Mickevičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Omer Dolar came free, but Tautvydas Mickevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Dolar in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Omer Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tautvydas Mickevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Carrillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Guido Carrillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Guido Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Carrillo in the 35th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Oscar Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vicente Txomin hit a great ball. Vicente Txomin charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tautvydas Mickevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sαηgrε Azuɭ booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wen Yue Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruno Eguntsenti came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Eguntsenti couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
