Glasgow Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesere the free kick. Armin De Donatis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirande Pescatori during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Mirande Pescatori. 11 minutes into the match, Kacper Fetor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mesere's Charis Manatakis. Charis Manatakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kacper Fetor might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charis Manatakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kacper Fetor ran back to his position shaking his head. Glasgow Rangers FC's Kacper Fetor managed to work through Mesere's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kacper Fetor dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 17 minutes into the match, Kacper Fetor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charis Manatakis. Mesere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kacper Fetor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Charis Manatakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Manatakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Grandis in the 20th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Grandis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Charis Manatakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kacper Fetor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charis Manatakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Fetor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kacper Fetor in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charis Manatakis saved Mesere from getting behind. Charis Manatakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Vaiani in the 34th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Armin De Donatis in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mesere's Edgard Maya. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alvise De Toni hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kacper Fetor made a kick off. Fabrizio Grandis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Millrick Ballestero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Quattrocchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Charis Manatakis made a huge save. Kacper Fetor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glasgow Rangers FC's Ferruccio Del Greco was substituted for Fabrizio Grandis. In the 67th minute, Kacper Fetor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charis Manatakis. The goal made the score 0-4. When Armin De Donatis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Armin De Donatis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Ferruccio Del Greco fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Ferruccio Del Greco a yellow card for diving instead. Eraldo Garibaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepin Uruñuela in the 76th minute of the match. Xosepin Uruñuela hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Ferruccio Del Greco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Rangers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Del Greco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kacper Fetor came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Glasgow Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacper Fetor couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Del Greco in the 95th minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Charis Manatakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Glasgow Rangers FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mesere.
