The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Cordoba in the 11th minute of play forced AC Østerlars's goalkeeper Lars Teglbrænder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estebano Vuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Teglbrænder having to interfere. José Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Pedro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernhard Merlyck in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Teglbrænder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, José Luis Torrente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciruel Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Luis Torrente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernhard Merlyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Teglbrænder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispin Klander, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ulryk Brzeszczak kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 38thth minute. Though ot was a great shot AC Østerlars's keeper Lars Teglbrænder was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. AC Østerlars's Lars Teglbrænder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save AC Østerlars from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Teobaldo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Otto Højskel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Østerlars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciruel Academy the free kick. Otto Højskel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Zarando Cordoba made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Zarando Cordoba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Teglbrænder was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Zarando Cordoba put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Teglbrænder. Lars Teglbrænder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 54th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Zarando Cordoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Østerlars's Lars Teglbrænder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lenny Walbom kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lars Teglbrænder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 71st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Teobaldo Gabon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Teglbrænder skillfully saved the ball. Ciruel Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
