The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Seco came free, but Anton Hult reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Moisés Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Hult was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 11 minutes, Jerry Nord made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When George Dalgren came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Doffes Damer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Dalgren couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Öberg during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Harry Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. George Dalgren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Dalgren in the 25th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Jean dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amauri Souza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Sena. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Dalgren got free with Jean dos Santos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Téo Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Nord stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Hult took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Hult was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonsinho Brodel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Herman Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Dalgren in the 68th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Jean dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, George Dalgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Hult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Lima in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Dalgren in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean dos Santos saved Remedios SC from getting behind. Jean dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Nord in the 83rd minute of the match. When Moisés Lima fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Remedios SC's protests and gave Moisés Lima a yellow card for diving instead. When Jerry Nord came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Doffes Damer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Nord couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Remedios SC booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Skarkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Remedios SC's Moisés Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Doffes Damer lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
