Caetano Guerreiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Durval Messias got control of the ball when Beniamin Mentus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damazy Raschke hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Moneteria getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Aaron Wuets hit a great ball. Célio Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cezary Kornecki hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Moneteria's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Queirós came free, but Cyprian Wojtkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Cacá Britovskiy made a precise shot to the right of Cyprian Wojtkiewicz. Moneteria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Walmir Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cyprian Wojtkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Beniamin Mentus came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Moneteria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beniamin Mentus couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Walmir Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Wojtkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Skwira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Messias having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Célio Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cyprian Wojtkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Moneteria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beniamin Mentus to make the kick off. Durval Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Kostka in the 51st minute of play. Moneteria's Cyprian Wojtkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Queirós in the 52nd minute of play. Clóvis Guerra's late challenge caught a Moneteria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Clóvis Guerra got a free kick in the 55th minute. Roberto Biaggio came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cyprian Wojtkiewicz could save by the left post. Dawid Kostka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Beniamin Mentus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moneteria and the Coritiba Foot Ball Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Beniamin Mentus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Wojtkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Teles in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Walmir Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmir Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Wojtkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moneteria made a substitution. Mateusz Chazon replaced Damazy Raschke. In the 76th minute, Walmir Teles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cyprian Wojtkiewicz. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 81st minute Walmir Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Wojtkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Cacá Britovskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cyprian Wojtkiewicz. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Léo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Wojtkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
