Quitilipi's Apolo Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Alvarez in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Oliveiro Herrera got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rodrigo Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Tristan having to make a save. Apolo Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Alvarez in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliveiro Herrera in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Tristan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Montevideo City Torque's Bizi Saludes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Tristan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Santos Poves replaced Bizi Saludes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliveiro Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solustiano Alpanseque to maneuver through the defense. Oliveiro Herrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Tristan having to make a save. Oliveiro Herrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Tristan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveiro Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Oliveiro Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Johans in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Oliveiro Herrera. Quitilipi's Apolo Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Quitilipi from getting a goal against them. Tonio Farell kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Robustiano Ulizes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte. Manoel Loarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montevideo City Torque walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
