After 7 minutes, Stamatis Agathakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saronida FC and the SE Tijolo 6 Furos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Stathis Diamantidis got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Leonardo Paz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Kastanakos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonis Vrazilianos got free with Leonardo Paz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Alagoano in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlassis Giannoglou saved Saronida FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Alagoano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlassis Giannoglou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vlassis Giannoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play. Roger Alagoano made a great header on SE Tijolo 6 Furos's corner, it was just that Saronida FC's Vlassis Giannoglou managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 29 in the game by Markos Renieris from a close distance when the talented Leonardo Paz managed to make a qualified save. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's players were relieved. In the 35th minute Otávio de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlassis Giannoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasios Zotalis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Pieter Lodewijks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vlassis Giannoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jackson Nascimento's late challenge caught a Saronida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. During the 62nd minute of the match Stathis Diamantidis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Vlassis Giannoglou was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stasio Balkiewicz. André Luís Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Roger Alagoano in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vlassis Giannoglou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 73 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Alagoano came free, but Vlassis Giannoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlassis Giannoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Rico in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Paulo Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saronida FC's Vlassis Giannoglou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Nunes in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlassis Giannoglou saved Saronida FC from getting behind. After 77 minutes Saronida FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Balkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Stamatis Agathakis tried in the 77th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Vlassis Giannoglou a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. When Zé Paulo Brasil fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Tijolo 6 Furos's protests and gave Zé Paulo Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in SE Tijolo 6 Furos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute, Charis Kastanakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vladimiros Karezis hit a great ball. Vlassis Giannoglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Vlassis Giannoglou came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Paulo Nunes. But to his dismay, Paulo Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SE Tijolo 6 Furos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
