The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bozhil Kolev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC CSKA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bozhil Kolev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC CSKA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Istenow in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oleg Ubinov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oleg Ubinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hagbard Ribov in the 6th minute of play. Rudolf Ryleman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Oleg Ubinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strib Galacticos IF's Bjørn Toklev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Bo Istenow got a free kick in the 21st minute. FC CSKA's Oleg Ubinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Rokmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC CSKA's Stiliyan Petrov in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bjørn Toklev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergin Muchanov in the 63rd minute of the match. Bo Istenow's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oleg Ubinov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 74th minute, Hagbard Ribov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC CSKA made a substitution. Vlado Manchev replaced Gergin Muchanov. Hagbard Ribov hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Manchev in the 77th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Bjørn Toklev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rudolf Ryleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlado Manchev kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Bo Istenow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Oleg Ubinov managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
