Lekparken FC's Sandu Hălmăgeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 47 minutes into the match, Lekparken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stiliyan Petrov came free, but August Sörman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
