Patagonia's Edoardo Paris tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Malatesta. In the 11th minute Francesco Flachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Galdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Club Sicilia's Emiliano Galdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Baggio in the 17th minute of play. Frank Malandra hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Edoardo Paris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Galdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Cassone in the 23rd minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Emiliano Galdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Cala didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sporting Club Sicilia's Carter Marsili shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. When Roberto Baggio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the A.C. Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Baggio couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francesco Flachi in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Galdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Baggio took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Galdi. Emiliano Galdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Amedeo Baldassarre's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Sicilia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Baldassarre helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Flachi came free, but Emiliano Galdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Crema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Cala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Crema in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Franco Cassone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Galdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Paris in the 59th minute of play. Dennis Cala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Crema in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Emiliano Galdi got control of the ball when Francesco Flachi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Goffredo made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Galdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roberto Baggio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Emiliano Galdi made a huge save. In the 74th play minute Roberto Baggio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Galdi. 1-8. In the 77th minute, A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Flachi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Alfredo Corrente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Galdi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Corrente slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Emiliano Galdi got control of the ball when Francesco Flachi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Galdi was a little too slow when Alfredo Corrente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-11. Emiliano Galdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Corrente in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Enzo De Vecchis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th play minute Roberto Baggio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Galdi. 1-12. A.C. Patagonia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
