Oscar dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo Dalmu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalidou Van Dijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalidou Van Dijck kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pedro Pabla, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcelino Nastasio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Teo Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Botelho in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Botelho in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Dalmu saved ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. from getting behind. With a little luck, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Teo Dalmu got control of the ball when Armando Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christian Urbano came free, but Teo Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Dávid Bisconti got a free kick in the 35th minute. With splendid footwork Armando Botelho arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. Pedro Luiz Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfredo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Quintun in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Bisconti came free, but Manfredo de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Breckenfeld. The crowd rose to their feet as ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Pedro Pabla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manfredo de Souza. That made the score 1-1 after 53 minutes of play. Kalidou Van Dijck kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Capibaribe Stars were furious when Kalidou Van Dijck was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Capibaribe Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.:s goal. Dávid Bisconti took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfredo de Souza. Manfredo de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Constantino Rutenio was substituted for Marcelino Nastasio. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Dionisio Ubendu was substituted for Dante Dalmai. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Teo Dalmu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Botelho in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ildefonso Bastian hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Armando Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Dalmu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Pedro Pabla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capibaribe Stars the free kick. In the 70th match minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pabla to maneuver through the defense. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Teo Dalmu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Botelho in the 70th minute of play. Teo Dalmu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Botelho went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Armando Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Dalmu having to interfere. Manfredo de Souza came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Dante Quintun. But to his dismay, Dante Quintun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Capibaribe Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Constantino Rutenio scored to the left of an out of position Manfredo de Souza, making the score, 2-5. Manfredo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Bisconti in the 94th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Dávid Bisconti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manfredo de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
