The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Isak Stålman came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Wållander, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Polly Magoo Juniors got a corner. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conny Rudkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Isak Stålman fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polly Magoo Juniors's protests and gave Isak Stålman a yellow card for diving instead. Isak Stålman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Arthur Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Markus Fågel made a huge save. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 余政翀 in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that 余政翀 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Markus Fågel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 20 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Botelho. If Arthur Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Guedes in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Polly Magoo Juniors's Isac Wållander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Basilio Arnuero got a free kick in the 30th minute. Omero Zubiaga struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Kepa Arrizabalaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polly Magoo Juniors. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Fågel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Arthur Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Guedes couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Stålman to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Markus Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isak Stålman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Isac Wållander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Osvaldinho de Senna was substituted for Cipriano Botelho. Isak Stålman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kepa Arrizabalaga made a huge save. Celso Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Celso Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Wållander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Isac Wållander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Isac Wållander got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Klose in the 77th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Michel Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho de Senna in the 83rd minute of play. Markus Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Valadares in the 88th minute of play. Celso Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Fågel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Markus Fågel came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Michel Klose. But to his dismay, Michel Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Polly Magoo Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
