When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gilian Ramps put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Micael Valverde. After 42 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Alan Leempoels. After a rather tough play, Sobrecastell UD's Edilberto Figueroa got a free kick in the 45th minute. Micael Valverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilian Ramps in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Beek City were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Flores to make the kick off. Gilian Ramps who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Micael Valverde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wart Van der Loock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Gilian Ramps cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Micael Valverde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sobrecastell UD booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilian Ramps didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilian Ramps came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Beek City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilian Ramps couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Sobrecastell UD defense, Gilian Ramps kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Micael Valverde. The Sobrecastell UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Micael Valverde should have stopped the shot. Micael Valverde was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Gilian Ramps capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilian Ramps really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The throw-in from Efraín March in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Beek City's Harrie Verlinden. Gilian Ramps blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Micael Valverde having to make a save. Micael Valverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilian Ramps in the 87th minute. Wart Van der Loock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micael Valverde having to interfere.
