Tristram Gower took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tạ 洪正乐. Tạ 洪正乐 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 14th minute, 朱强城 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tạ 洪正乐 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristram Gower in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, 康昆傲 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Tristram Gower could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Tạ 洪正乐 however easily saved by the left post. Tristram Gower succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristram Gower got free with Tạ 洪正乐 in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Staffy Terrier FC made a substitution. Toby Boyce replaced Rupert Walters. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tạ 鲁建南 to strike the kick off in the second half. Tạ 洪正乐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Boyce in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tristram Gower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ 洪正乐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tạ 鲁建南 in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Davis saved Staffy Terrier FC from getting behind. In the 64th match minute, 浦江棋王联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康昆傲 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Pointon in the 65th minute of play forced 浦江棋王联队's goalkeeper Tạ 洪正乐 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Williamson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes 浦江棋王联队 got a freekick which was hit by Tạ 鲁建南. Tristram Gower might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tạ 洪正乐. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tristram Gower ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, 浦江棋王联队's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Gower came free, but Tạ 洪正乐 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Staffy Terrier FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Peter Steadman hit a great ball. Staffy Terrier FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
